Sitting quietly in one of the many beautiful tea houses scattered throughout the courtyard or nestled against the mountain backdrop, you can’t help but feel a deep sense of calm as nature engages all your senses. It’s truly therapeutic for the soul.
For those seeking a more hands-on experience, the guesthouse offers a variety of activities that are sure to delight, especially families with children. Whether it’s fishing in a tranquil stream or exploring the forest at night in search of glowworms, there’s something special for everyone. Normally, I tend to avoid hotels popular with families. But here, in this zen-like setting, the sound of children laughing and playing only adds to the charm rather than detracting from the serenity.
Every corner of this retreat is a photo opportunity, and every meal is a sumptuous feast. The ancient gate transports you to another world, and the evening white mist enhances the sense of wonder. The house-made osmanthus baijiu, reserved exclusively for guests, is a refined treat that speaks to the thoughtful touches that elevate the experience. The level of care and attention to details here far exceeds the cost, leaving you feeling truly pampered by the generosity of this guesthouse and its staff, who go above and beyond to make you feel like an honored guest.
I was particularly impressed by the staff and their evident training. They were polite, enthusiastic, and fully invested in ensuring that guests had a great stay. In similar boutique hotels, you might expect to see more of the owner’s presence. But at Shouzhou, the front-of-house staff take full ownership of running the property, with a level of professionalism that is both refreshing and commendable.
Our journey from Qingchengshan to Qionglai and onward to Emeishan was long, but entirely worth it. We are especially grateful to the young front-of-house male staff and his colleague, who graciously offered to drive us nearly 30 minutes to a location where we could catch a Didi to Emeishan. This kind gesture was the embodiment of hospitality at its finest.
I hope more people discover this hidden gem and have the chance to experience its uplifting atmosphere for themselves.

L'emplacement est excellent et il y a une navette pour la base des pandas. C'est le meilleur choix pour amener des enfants.
Les responsables de la réception et du hall sont tous deux bons et ont activement corrigé tout désagrément survenu.
La prochaine étape consiste à renforcer la formation des portiers. Les affaires des clients sont plus chères que prévu, et les invités qui arrivent tard à l'hôtel seront également des invités avec des enfants et des personnes âgées. Mes enfants l'aiment beaucoup, l'environnement est génial et il y a beaucoup de choix de piscines à soupe. L'herbe peut être recouverte directement de tapis pour le camping, et il y a des accessoires prêts à l'emploi dans la chambre.Il est recommandé pour les voyages en famille.
Le seul point est qu'il y a beaucoup de moustiques au printemps, et il est facile pour les moustiques d'entrer dans la chambre au premier étage de la zone villa.J'espère que cela peut être amélioré.

IInvité1) Subway station is 30 seconds right across the road.
2) Location is good because it is enveloped by a few famous narrow alleys selling handicraft, snacks, desserts, souvenirs, Chinese artwork etc, and have endless food stalls, coffee shops that surround the hotel, buzzing with activities all day till at least 11pm.
3) Hotel staff speak minimal English but they do understand it albeit not able to converse freely. Naturally using PTH is best.
4) Staff in the entire hotel are very friendly, courteous, pleasant and accommodating, trying to help in any way possible.
5) Bespectacled night manageress in a black suit was very welcoming and sweet. She offered to upgrade us when the room originally assigned for us was not as quiet as we had requested when we booked it. She led us to see the original one ( 2/F )and the other one ( the quieter one on 3/F ) and let us choose.
6) The upgraded room ( 3/F ) was a suite and it was really nice --- very quiet with courtyard view and tasteful lay out.
7) Cannot praise enough for the delightful suite -- spacious and elegant ; super clean ; smells nice , refreshing and just right not overwhelming ; white crispy bed linen ; daily turn down service; endless supply of fresh bottled water on daily basis ; spotless tumbler and fresh bottle of water by the bedside table every evening; everything you touch is spotless ; wooden flooring matching Chinese wooden furniture in simple design giving out this classy Chinese feel ; free to consume anything for the 1st time in the mini bar ; tea & coffee replenished daily ; kettle and coffee machine; free stationery like scissors, stapler, clips, pencil and pens etc; toiletries like vanity set, combs, toothbrush etc replenished daily ; spacious bathroom with double wash basins and clean white towels ; wash basins in rose gold but not tacky; shower drainage not smooth on 1st night but they fixed it and no prob thereafter ; water pressure from shower was good and plenty of marble top inside shower room for your own toiletries ; bathtub with fresh rose petals on 1st night and various types of bath salt ; big screen to watch telly while in tub ; separate toilet near living room; ample wardrobe space and power operated blinds and black out blinds. They provide steam iron on request but it would be better to have a proper flat iron if you want to press pants and other thicker harder material. Steam iron is only good for silk or plain cotton. Even linen is better with a flat iron.
8) This is a 100% Chinese ambience hotel from lobby to our suite but nothing is gaudy or ostentatious because everything is simple, no fuss, low-key, very clean, good architecture, functional and all colour combo is soothing to the eyes.
9) We ate at their restaurant the 1st night and food was ok -- dan dan noodles slightly overcooked so it was a bit mushy. Fried rice was a huge serving with fresh shrimps and nicely cooked. Tea could be hotter. Service was attentive, efficient and proper.

J'ai choisi plusieurs hôtels à Chengdu et j'ai finalement opté pour celui-ci.
L'emplacement est relativement bon, vous pouvez marcher jusqu'au quartier des affaires de Chunxi Road ; il est très proche de la station de métro Dong'en Bridge et à trois arrêts de Kuanzhai Alley
L'hôtel dispose d'un parking souterrain lorsque vous descendez de votre voiture, vous pouvez signaler votre numéro de plaque d'immatriculation à la réception pour un stationnement gratuit.
La vue en hauteur de la pièce est très bonne et vous pouvez voir la majeure partie de Chengdu. La décoration est ancienne, mais cela n'altère en rien le confort et la convivialité.
Le personnel est très enthousiaste et professionnel et nous a même offert de jolis pendentifs panda.
Dans l'ensemble, c'est un hôtel très rentable, je reviendrai ici la prochaine fois que je viendrai à Chengdu !

WWen KaiGreat and convenient location, to the point we extended another night stay. Only 200m to People's Park station, subway Line 2, which can connect you almost anywhere. Able to walk to People's Park and Kuanzhai Alley, even Tianfu Square if you can walk 2km. Also have a convenience store available downstairs of the same building, and Hong Qi store if you walk a bit further. Many tour agencies are on the opposite road, where you can book day tours. The tour bus pickup and drop off points are also only around 1km from this building, easy to walk to due to the extra-wide sidewalks. It's facing the main road so you can easily get taxis as well.
The building is easy to locate, but the check in counter is more confusing to find. When looking in from the main road, the convenience store is on the left, so you need to go to the opposite side of the convenience store. You need to walk to the back of the building and find the entrance facing the wall with a car park boom gate. There is a security guard and there are lots of online delivery boxes. Then, access the elevator and the reception is on level 26.
There was a washing machine and detergent available in our unit, which we utilized. Other than the clothes hanging bar in the kitchen, the rest of the unit lacked places to hang things such as wet towels. It was a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom unit with another queen bed in the living room. Hot water was always available though you have to fiddle with the lever and wait some time. The kitchen only had a water kettle and a few mugs. There's a primary school right beside the building and you can hear the students every weekday morning. (My photos were taken just before checkout so don't mind the mess)
The owners are an exceptionally friendly couple who are hardworking and provide excellent service. They are open to feedback and we've told them what we think was lacking in our unit. Hopefully they will implement the small improvements. They also recommended a few restaurants to us that had good local food and were reasonably priced.
Recommend to add them on WeChat prior to arrival and communicate your arrival time. They wait at the front desk past midnight if they don't know the guest's check in time. However, they can only communicate in Mandarin, so you may face some difficulty.

LLoke ShengArrivé tôt à 5 heures du matin, la réception a toujours du service pour aider à l'enregistrement. La chambre est spacieuse, seules les toilettes sont compactes mais entièrement équipées. L'eau est chaude, ce qui est très utile en hiver. Emplacement à distance de marche des zones populaires comme Taikuli et la zone commerciale de Chunxi. Facile à obtenir par téléphone depuis la zone hôtelière. À proximité de l'hôtel se trouvent de nombreux restaurants. Le jardin sur le toit est l'endroit idéal pour le café et le bar, ainsi que pour fumer. Le personnel est sympathique et réactif.

SSoloWondersJe dirais que l’auberge a une ambiance jeune et que les chambres avec fenêtres sont spacieuses. La propreté pourrait être grandement améliorée, tout comme le désordre dans les couloirs. Apparemment, l'auberge est en cours de rénovation, de sorte que de nombreux débris peuvent être repérés accumulés dans le couloir.
Emplacement assez proche du complexe du temple et du monastère et d'une superbe rue de restaurants proposant une délicieuse cuisine de Chengdu.
Assurez-vous d’acheter de l’eau avant d’entrer et de sélectionner des pièces avec des fenêtres, sinon on pourrait vous en attribuer une qui n’en a pas.

C'est vraiment bien, l'assainissement est très bon, la taille de toute la pièce est très convenable et l'agencement est bon. La literie est bien utilisée, très près du corps, confortable pour dormir, douce et dure, la climatisation fonctionne bien, et l'équipement est tout neuf. Pas mal! ! ! ! ! ! ! Cela vaut la peine de rester! ! ! ! ! ! !
