the room was new, clean and ok... the service personell was very friendly. the surroundings is beautiful... its close to the beach,,, and has a great pool. i tried a lunch at the beach resturant , it was not the best experience i had,, the menu was almost unreadable and the staff not so interrested in us... breakfast is ok ... missed bacon tho, but when i return to Thung wua Laen beach next time i would stay at Nana again,,, i really like the place .. there was one receptionist that could speak good english and she was just great,, very helpful and serviceminded.. when the eletricity was gone for a few hours due to maintenance they called me the day before to offer me to stay at another hotel while it was gone .

The rooms & hotel area were okay. But the hotel is quite far from beach other places (restaurants, shops etc.). So I think it's better suited to family or group who wants a quiet place separate from others. Also, it's quite hard to go outside unless you have your own transportation (i.e. no public transportation at all). It's also quite a long walk to the beach/main tourist spots (1 km) but I think you will need to be careful at night since you have to walk on quite an isolated road which pass thru some rubber farms which is quite dark at night.

Family run freidly small resort directly on nice quiet beach. This resort is for Thai speakers but use of Google translate gets you around that. Breakfast is included ask Sky to cook you omelette with your favourite fillings. Not much security or safes but these seem not needed. I think the resort would do anything for you if asked. But you need to go find someone to ask. Bed comfortable. No hot water to talk about but hot water isn't needed. Sea is a great temp. Good restaurants 20 minutes walk in either direction along the beach or beach roads. Town centre and market 20 minutes walk. Try not to plan to be outside between 10 am and 4 pm unless in shade, sea or air conditioning

Aller à un ami autour de Patio, un ami recommande de dormir ici, coucher et regarder la mer et près de l'aéroport le soir, descendre pour une promenade sur la plage, la plage n'est pas belle, ne peut pas descendre à nager. (Personne ne descend) est une plage rocheuse, mais l'atmosphère est bonne, la chambre est spacieuse, le lit est confortable, peut entendre le son des gens qui frappent la chambre à côté de elle. Le petit déjeuner est bon Il y a beaucoup à choisir. Et il faut choisir le temps de descendre à manger, beaucoup de clients, donc nous devons passer. Asseyez-vous et manger sur le balcon Le soleil est heureux. Il y a beaucoup de parking. Et très proche de l'aéroport, convenable

Le logement est bien situé. En traversant la route, nous avons vu la mer. Il y a un masseur de pieds. Quatre bouteilles d'eau étaient données par chambre, pas assez pour aller en chercher plus. Le petit déjeuner était très bon. Il y a du porridge, du riz frit, de la salade, du pain, des raviolis, des boulettes de viande, du tofu, du poisson cuit à la vapeur, des œufs, du bacon et des saucisses. Toutes les saveurs sont parfaites. La chambre est bien insonorisée.

I believe the correct name is now Talaysai@Thung Wua Laen. Marketed as beachfront on Booking.com but only the restaurant is. I arrived early morning after overnight train from Bangkok. I expected 2pm check in and organised myself accordingly. Reception were happy to take care of my suitcase. I ended up checking in earlier. The lady manager generously allowed me to partake in the buffet breakfast at no extra cost which was greatly appreciated. I stayed in a delux double room with seaview which was clean and spacious. Comfortable bed, excellent lighting but the aircon blows directly on to the bed but I didn't need need it during my sleep. Everything worked fine. TV stations are all Thai but if the internet is working you have access to Netflix and Youtube. The breakfast buffet was mainly Thai orientated but there were omelets, fried eggs and small hotdogs for me. Toast and some bakery items also offered. One distinguishing feature with this hotel is that it has an elevator which is highly unusual for a building with only a few floors. Good choice for those who travel with big heavy suitcases and whine about having to carry them up staircases. Overall, friendly, helpful staff providing good service at a well run and comfortable hotel.
