La chambre est très propre et propre, le service est très enthousiasmé et poli, entrez deux fois dans la porte, très sûr! La clé est que vous vous sentirez coupé, ici, comme le paradis, Vanaraxi dehors comme le monde du démon! Je pense que ça vaut la peine de rester!

AC is poisonous. I am allergic to dust, but this is dangerous for everyone! I have reported and tried to find a solution. Customer service showed no flexibility nor understanding. The ***agement is very bad and hide behind the screens and app. I say that this is oltraggioso and extremely bad. Especially for not taking care of health as priority. The dorm where I stayed (201) has a ultra dirty dusty and unhealthy AC system and the filters are very dirty and old. There is no maintenance. Breathing all day and night that air is unhealthy and made me sick. My nose was blocked and sinuses inflamed. I couldn't breathe properly. I have reported to the ***ager to get a change. They summarily cleaned the big dust, but air remains unbreathable. This will be reported to health department. Washrooms are nest of insects. It is very disgusting. Everything is quite dirty (pillow outside, tables, ecc). I don't know how people can give 5. The worst experience so far.

Staying at Hari Vilaas was an excellent experience for me and my family. The hotel is very clean, neat and tidy at all times. Food was excellent and the staff is extremely courteous. It is a one stop solution for everything you need and everything is arranged within minutes of asking for it. Pandit to vehicle to Tuktuk everything arranged in no time for the right price. I forgot my Laptop charger during my travel and same was not available at the hotel but Krishna, the owner of the hotel arranged it in few minutes. There is a yes for everything in this place and did not hear ”NO” from anyone there. Enjoyed the stay there and would recommend this place for sure.

Le pire ”hôtel” et le plus cher depuis que je viens en Inde ! Le lit est installé dans un placard sans fenêtre, sans aération. Placard avec un lit, accessible par une porte vitrée (!) Coulissant dans le couloir car pas assez de place à l'intérieur, barbouillée de peinture pour cacher l'intérieur du placard, avec une serrure n'assurant aucune sécurité. Remontées d'odeurs d'égouts, éclairage par un néon faiblard. Réduit si petit que mes bagages ont seulement trouvé place sur la moitié du lit. Bien sûr pas de WIFI dans les étages doroirs, mais seulement dans la salle de restaurant. Et tout ça très cher. Si je n'avais pas payé à la réservation, je serais parti dès le premier jour Avantage : situé sur le ghat principal. Autre avantage, mais ce n'est pas la faute du propriétaire deux jeunes qui se démènent pour aider au mieux. Et j’ai appris que quelques jours après mon départ, le propriétaire a « viré » le jeune qui se démenait pour faire tourner l’établissement, sans le payer, en lui devant un mois de salaire (pour information moins élevé que ce que j’ai payé pour 5 nuits) alors que ce jeune travaillait 7 jours sur 7, de 07h à 23h, avec comme lieu de repos le petit canapé de la salle de restaurant. A FUIR ABSOLUMENT. Voleur et voyou sont les termes qui qualifient le mieux le propriétaire de shri guest house Varanasi. Allez voir ailleurs. Ce sera obligatoirement mieux !

Tourist trap alert : Don't book this so called hotel : it is actually not a hotel but a makeshift one with a few rooms kept aside for rental with the callous owner running his legal office in the same premises . There are no trained staff to take care of guests with one inept and very sad looking individual kept for errands . They insist on collecting the full due amount after a booking at the time of checking in with no option for cancellation once you see the place. They probably know that no one will come back here for a 2nd visit . Reasons : 1) Location deep inside a myriad of narrow alleys. Parking is a nightmare . You have to carry your bags up to the door and then up the stairs as there is no elevator. 2) Free breakfast scam : there is no place set aside for this. A minimal breakfast is supposedly sent to the room purposely after 9 am by some 3rd party which is not practical for anyone visiting temples in morning hours or checking out early . 3) Poor amenities: they skimp on basic items like a towel , soap and do not provide enough items even after requesting . The rooms , bathrooms are sub standard , unsafe with wet floors and inconvenient . 4) No provision of heating during the cold winter even in the so called deluxe rooms which were sold saying they had AC. Overall This place is a definite NO NO. No stars Absolutely zero star

This is a popular place and it's easy to see why. Tastefully decorated with a colourful hippy vibe, it's a warm, inviting hostel. Its a bit tricky to find when you first arrive as it is nestled amongst the narrow labyrinth of back streets, only accessible by foot or by motorbike. The double room we had was very comfortable and had an ensuite and a little fridge which was great for keeping drinking water cool. The rooftop is a great place to mingle with other guests so solo travellers soon make friends with other guests staying there. On our first night, there was a great acoustic group playing, everyone sang ***** ( not us, it was all in Hindi!) But still we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and dispite being old enough to be everyone's parents we were made warmly welcome! They served cold beers but no other alcohol. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped us arrange our taxi to our next destination and even walked with us, carrying our bags and leading us out of the labyrinth to the taxi, for which we are very grateful.

I booked this hotel on basis of location close to temple and ghat, was looking good at Google even from station to hotel showing taxi can travel. Then I tried to contact guest house for guidnce but no one picks call and even dont bother to call. when we reached OLA Uber both denied to go there they clearly told this hotel is in very interior. Even a Ricksaw walla argied with me why did you book in such a terrible hotel in the crowd, i shouted at him why he is asking this? He shut up and explained they drop at 1 km away feom Main Nandi square from where we have to walk only in Gali. The Gali is 1meter wide both side shops to avaoid taking questions. With great difficulty I was accompanying my Mother she is a arithritis patient and this guest guy dont pick call to get any guidance. After reaching he has shown a room without AC, without window and no choices, he has AC rooms upstairs but NO lift.... we reached at around 9pm with a sick mom where to find again hotel? He was ready to cancel.... but getting room again is a problem...so we forced to settle in the given room only. Again it was 9 to 9.30 pm so we had not dinner asked for any service to bring food...he denied no such room service available.... Any way next day our flight at 4pm and we are planned to leave as early as possible.... He dis one good thing he arranged wheel chair person to whom we paid 600 for Viswanath temple and inside.... He also promised to come to take out on wheel chair till Auto ricksaw stand... but upon calling he also didnor responded. my point is how these syatems Trip advisor, Make my trip and google are blind to such main servoce providers.... I paid ₹970 while booking but grossly misled by this cartel because while booking it was mentioned AC, TV, Lift and other facilities...I had better choices but it is a great nightmare for me and my Mom. I had to write such a long post because no other gueat to Baba Viswanath should be misled again. Never book by this cartel select any hotel which is at a 2 km away from Temple and call hotel and book directly.

We stayed at HVH for two days stay was very comfortable,rooms were impeccably clean, food was good and the staff of the hotel were helpful and cordial. The hotel is very near to the ghat ,you can just take a walk and reach to ghat in 10 minutes.Best part is it is located in the main bazar so it's easier to get transport. Highly recommended.
