This song was intended by EWF to show to their seasoned producer, Charles Stepney, how much they appreciated him. Unfortunately, Stepney never got to hear the song. Maurice White spoke to him on the morning of May 17th, 1976, but was informed by fellow EWF member Larry Dunn about a phone call he received detailing that Stepney had died of a heart attack. Stepney was 46 years old.
