On my second Monstercat EP, there’s this track called They Just Haven’t Seen It. That’s personally- that’s my favorite track that I’ve done. Even though it’s really experimental and a little bit crazy, a lot of people didn’t seem to understand the drop at first, but then later they started to get into it. The drop is like this really weird jumpy melody over really big 808s and um- I just didn’t wanna make it a trap drop so I thought of something different and… like I said, to this day, this is one of my favorite releases I’ve done.

In the same podcast, he also tells a short story about the making of the vocals:

Funny story about this track: I had the instrumental part all done, and I just needed some vocals for it. So I contacted my good friend The Nicholas. I called him and he said ‘I’m on my way to Asia, I’m about to hop on this plane’ and I was gonna have to wait. So I was like ‘Oh really man?’ And he was like ‘Yeah… Oh wait, you know what? I’ll try something’ and he just sang some stuff on his phone to the track I sent him, and we actually ended up using those recordings from his phone at the airport in the original recording. And I think it sounds great.
