“On My Way” is the fourth track on Why Don’t We’s first EP Only The Beginning. It shares a similar-style beat to the second track of the EP, “Nobody Gotta Know.”

The song is about a guy who’s telling the girl to lean back on him and that it is his job to do things for her at whatever cost.

The breakdown of the song is the first thing that anybody heard from of the band, as it was their first post on their Instagram on September 26th, 2016; even though it was released nearly two months later. In a track-by track commentary for the EP, member Daniel Seavey commented:

I feel like, with this song, we all have a strong and special connection to it, because this was the first sound that anyone heard from our band. It was in our teaser video, with the static, way back when we first became a band.
