Return Of The Mack Lyrics
Zo and Tigallo style
Yeah, we gon' swag it out
(Swag, swag, swag, swag...)
Ooooh-oh-oh-oh
Come on
Oh yay
I am the mack
I am returned
Then I park my car
Then I will come back
Pump up the world
I'm a pretty bitch
I am the mack
I am the mack
[Verse 1]
Well, I tried to tell you so (yes, I did)
But I guess you didn't know
As they say the story goes
Baby, now I got the flo'
'Cause I knew it from the start
Baby, when you broke my heart
That I had to play the game
And show you that I'd win
You lied to me
All those times I said that I loved you
You lied to me
Yes I tried, yes I tried
You lied to me
Even though you know I'd die for you
You lied to me
Yes I cried, yes I cri-i-ied
[Hook]
Return of the Mack (there it is)
Return of the Mack (come on)
Return of the Mack (oh my God)
You know that I'll be back (here I am)
Return of the Mack (once again)
Return of the Mack (pump up the world)
Return of the Mack (watch my flow)
You know that I'll be back (here I go)
[Verse 2]
So, I'm back up in the game (hustling slow)
Running things to keep my swing (all night long)
Letting all the people know (more ad-libs)
That I'm back to run the show (I'll stop now)
Cause what you did you know was wrong (no, I won't)
And all the nasty things you've done (on and on)
So listen carefully (almost gone)
While I sing my comeback song (nigga please)
You lied to me
Cause she said she'd never turn on me
You lied to me
But you did, but you did
You lied to me
All this pain you said I'd never feel
You lied to me
But I do, but I do, do, do
[Hook]
Return of the Mack (it is)
Return of the Mack (come on)
Return of the Mack (oh my God)
You know that I'll be back (here I am)
Return of the Mack (once again)
Return of the Mack (pump up the world)
Return of the Mack
You know that I'll be back (yes it is)
Return of the Mack (yes it is)
Return of the Mack (I am back)
... (what the fuck happened?)
... (it's back, back on track)
Swag, swag, swag, swag
And we back
Swag, swag, swag, swag
And I'm back
Yes I do, yes I do, do, do, do...
About
Following their tongue-in-cheek cover album Zo! and Tigallo Love The 80’s, Zo! and Tigallo released this comedic parody cover of Mark Morrison’s “Return of the Mack,” turning the 90’s summer banger into a hilariously disparate slow jam. While recreating Morrison’s hard to understand adlibs, sometimes even with Morrison’s thick accent, fans of the original will get a kick out of a version that’s half tribute, half comedy roast.
The song was purported to be from a Zo! and Tigallo Love the 90’s sequel release, but the duo has since abandoned plans for the album. In the metadata of the MP3 version released, the album is titled They Never Shoulda Gave You Niggas Studio Equipment.
