Rough and Rowdy Ways

Bob Dylan’s 39th studio album is his first with original material since 2012s “Tempest”. Between 2012 and 2020 he released 3 cover albums of traditional pop standards.
The double-album is presumably named after the Jimmie Rodgers classic “My Rough And Rowdy Ways” from 1929. (the interior album artwork includes a photo of Jimmie Rodgers with The Carter Family).
The album has received critical acclaim and perfect review scores from many professional music critics such as The Guardian or NME.
