Death – Pierce Me is the only full-length album released by Swedish black metal act Silencer. Considered to be a cult classic, the album is a landmark of the “depressive” style of black metal.
Recording sessions included three musicians: Nattramn on vocals, Andreas Casado on guitars and bass and session member Steve Wolz on drums.
To propel his screams heard on the album, Nattramn allegedly self-harmed; cutting his wrists and hands. It lasted the recording of the album, with the intention that his cries of pain were the most authentically possible.
