Lessons in Love

Following several projects and EPs, Irish-Thai singer-songwriter Sinéad Harnett’s debut album, Lessons In Love, finally arrived on September 20th, 2019. The heavily R&B influenced album takes listeners through the up’s and down’s of Harnett’s personal life, from being introduced to her nephew in the single “Leo Bear,” to recounting her heartbreak after being cheated on and left in “Pulling Away.”

The album also features her breakthrough song “If You Let Me,” which was originally released back in 2016 on her eponymous EP. Harnett discussed the importance of the song and her decision to include it on the album with Complex UK, explaining:

This song felt like a massive chapter in my solo journey and something clicked where I finally started to trust myself as a writer.

To promote the album, Harnett posted a snippet of each song to her Instagram throughout August and September, 2019, before the official release. The album was supported by a North American tour and a show at her largest venue in London to date.
