About David Rose

The English-born orchestra leader David Rose (1910-1990) devoted the majority of his career to the then-new medium of television, where he won four Emmys composing for such shows as Little House on the Prairie, Highway to Heaven, and Bonanza. He also had two instrumentals that charted unusually high in “The Stripper” and “Holiday for Strings.”
