Jānis Bukums

Janis Bukums – famous Latvian rock singer, active since 1989. His songs – “I forgive you this” (“To piedodu es tev”) and “Prayer” (“Lūgšana”) are Latvian rock classics!

In 2015 Janis Bukums returned to Latvian music scene with a new band “JANIS BUKUMS” and a new album – “ALIVE AND DIFFERENT”.

Second album “FIRERAIN” released worldwide on November 25th, 2016, label – 7US/7HARD .

On May 13th 2016 Jānis Bukums received “Radio SWH Annual Broadcast Award” in category “Comeback of the Year”.

On February 10th 2017 Janis Bukums received “Latvian Metal Music Annual Award 2016” in category “Voice of the Year”.

The band unites experienced, meritorious artists and young, talented musicians to play eclectic rock music without stylistic restrictions.

The members of the project have played in biggest music festivals, events and clubs in Latvia and abroad.

Musicians have played in Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Russia, Ukraine, Armenia, Sweden, Germany and Spain. Members have been tv show hosts and radio DJs, participated in feature films, commercials, music videos and many other projects. Participated in several music projects and recording sessions (Latvia and abroad).
