A Cincinnati, OH native, Jo Ellen (she/her) recently graduated from the University of Michigan with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in Creative Writing. She’s also studied Shakespeare at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts.
Jo Ellen is now a New York City-based actor.
Before “The Prom” aired on Netflix, she made a guest appearance on The Late Show with James Corden and Good Morning America.
Pellman has made cameo appearances in TV-Shows such as Alternatino with Arturo Castro, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, The Deuce, and The University.
