Leyla McCalla

Leyla Sarah McCalla is an New Orleans classical, folk, and multi-instrumentalist musician. Born to Haitian emigrants and activists, much of her music is inspired by her Haitian-American experiences and Haitian roots and culture.

Previously a cellist with the Grammy-winning string band, Carolina Chocolate Drops, but left to focus on her solo career.
