Dequantes Devontay Lamar (b. October 4, 1989 – d. September 5, 2024), professionally known as Rich Homie Quan, was an American recording artist from Atlanta, Georgia.
Quan was known for his hit songs “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)” and “Type of Way,” as well as his successful collaborative mixtape with Birdman and Young Thug.
On September 5, 2024, Louisiana rapper Boosie Badazz took to X to confirm rumors that Quan had passed due to a drug overdose.
