  • It’s halfway through December and the team at Advisory Services Group have been enjoying (or enduring) their 12 Bays of Christmas swims and ticking off the bays. There is still time to sign up or donate if you’d like to join in the fun - link in comments 👇 We know December is a busy month already and the weather isn’t being kind, but remember you can make the challenge your own, swim all 12 in one place, do it as a team or even just paddle your toes! The most important thing is to raise as much money as possible to support Les Bourgs Hospice Cathy Lloyd (Dip IoD, Prof PgDip FCC) Scott Le Page MICA Jodie Martel Dawn Sealey

Event fundraising is an important income stream for us and next up is our fun, festive sea swimming challenge the 12 Bays of Christmas! Did you know we have a team option? If the idea of 12 is too much this is the perfect option to gather colleagues, friends or family and tick them off between you. All you need to do is take a dip and wetsuits are optional! Can you brrrrrave it for our charity? For further information about the event and to register please see the link in comments. Our thanks go to Advisory Services Group for sponsoring this year's event which means that every penny raised goes directly to supporting specialist palliative care for our patients and their loved ones.

  • The 12 Bays Swimming event for Les Bourgs Hospice has now launched for 2024 and Advisory Services Group are delighted to be sponsor this year. The swimming challenge involves completing 12 festive themed swims at Guernsey bays over the month of December. Many of the team at Advisory Services are keen sea swimmers, embracing the many health benefits that gifts us, but we also know how vital the services Les Bourgs Hospice provides to our community. Les Bourgs provides the highest levels of compassionate and professional end of life and respite care to those with life limiting illnesses. The hospice does not receive States funding and is entirely reliant on public donations. The 12 Bays event is therefore a key fundraiser for them and this year we hope to make it the best year ever. For further information and details on how to sign up, please see the link in comments 👇 Don’t forget you can sign up individually or as a team within your office. You can share the swims between you or complete them together as a team. You can dip your toe in or go full neoprene - it’s up to you. However you do it let’s make a big splash for Les Bourgs!

  • A big thank you to those who hosted and arranged the Governance Guernsey 2024 Conference Day in October, which provided an educational and social day for governance professionals on the Island.   Annie and Emily both attended and were delighted for the chance to hear from the speakers, with just some of the topics covering best-practice minutes, future of the governance professional and the developments of AI in the industry.    Well done to all the presenters, moderators, panellists and to all those who dedicate their time to plan these events, the effort does not go unnoticed and is much appreciated.   #GovernanceGuernsey
