This significant gathering focused on strengthening stakeholder coordination and collaboration to advance the Ministry's crucial mandate. We were honoured to accept an invitation from the British High Commissioner, Madam Harriet Thompson. The brunch and stakeholder engagement followed the Ambassador for a Day initiative and commemorated the passage of the Affirmative Action Act (Gender Equity Act) 2024. We had discussions around supporting the implementation of the Act and practical ways to strengthen gender equity and empower the next generation of women leaders in Ghana. In the last couple of days, the Network has embarked on a number of activities not only to commemorate its 2nd anniversary but to celebrate the #16daysofactivism and to initiate discussions around women's political participation. One such activity was the Inter-Political Strategic Meeting, where leaders and stakeholders from diverse political affiliations convened to discuss solutions for our shared challenges as women in leadership. One thing is for sure: as we prepare for the 2024 elections, such initiatives highlight the importance of focusing on common goals rather than differences.
