    It’s been a while since I last posted here, but I’m back with exciting news! I officially completed the ALX AICE program a few weeks ago and earned my certificate! 🎓 This journey has been truly transformative. Over the course of the program, I delved into the world of AI tools, discovering how they’re revolutionizing the way we work and communicate. From boosting productivity to simplifying everyday tasks, I’ve gained hands-on experience with tools that are reshaping the future of work. What stood out the most was the practical approach—learning by doing and applying these tools to real-world scenarios. It’s been an exciting challenge that has equipped me with skills I’m eager to use. I’m grateful to ALX GHANA for this fantastic opportunity and for curating such impactful programs. I’m even more excited to continue learning and growing by taking on additional courses with ALX in the future. This is the beginning of my journey to explore tech-driven solutions and advance my skills!

    𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐀𝐭 Salesforce User Group, Ghana 𝐇𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧 Speaking of mentorship,  this weekend was a great opportunity to witness some of my mentees compete in the Salesforce Hackathon. Organized by the Salesforce User Group, Ghana, a community that brings together Salesforce professionals, partners, customers, and stakeholders for networking, learning and ultimately creating employment opportunities. The Trailblazers demonstrated their skills by creating innovative solutions based on the theme: 𝐸𝑚𝑝𝑜𝑤𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑆𝑚𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑀𝑒𝑑𝑖𝑢𝑚-𝑆𝑖𝑧𝑒𝑑 𝐸𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑝𝑟𝑖𝑠𝑒𝑠 (𝑆𝑀𝐸𝑠) 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑆𝑎𝑙𝑒𝑠𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑐𝑒 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝐵𝑢𝑠𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑠𝑠 𝐼𝑛𝑛𝑜𝑣𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛. The contestants tackled challenges by integrating various Salesforce features, including creating look-up and master-detail relationships, customizing page layouts and dynamic forms, automating processes with flows, building reports and dashboards, and designing functional applications. Ama Yeboa Essel emerged as the Hackathon winner with a real estate platform to manage property listings. Other participants presented equally exceptional solutions, such as an AI chatbot, an inventory management system, and a hospital billing platform. Josephine, Oluwafemi, Hayford, and Tarek all impressed with their creativity and dedication. It was inspiring to see these trailblazers step out of their comfort zones and showcase their talents. It was inspiring to see other participants like Frederick Aikins, PMP®, PSM, and Dan Sidsaya build their first Agentforce on Trailhead. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported this initiative, including Bamnan Maclean Dikwal, Kayode A., Sam Faulkner, John Fagan 🏄♂️, Mariam Nersisyan, Benardine Holdbrook Sekyi, Tarun Arora, Chamille ‘Cece’ Adams, Dangsenpenan Nokshuwan, Ursula Fear, and Tunde Mosaku This event wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible backing of our partners: ALX GHANA, turntabl, Oxfordable Careers , MarketCatch Inc, Conam Technologies, DKLOUD, Civic.ly, Kweku Tech, and Code and Cocktails. Your contributions made this a success! 🚀 A big shoutout to our amazing judges, Ilyich Tetteh Tagoe 🌍, Jasmine Afiwa Amezi, and Jonathan S. Anum-Tetteh, for their excellent work, and to my fellow organizing team Jasmine, Maame, Chester, David, and Benjamin for their dedication and effort in bringing this event to life! Thank you Ruth Cudjoe, Adams Adjartey, and George for your support too. Finally a massive thank you to all the participants who showed up to support! 🥂 #mentorship #salesforce #salesforceHackathon #salesforcecommunity #SalesforceOhana #salesforceinghana

    I am am super excited to share my achievement in successfully completing the AI Engineer Path Course, a program designed for web developers to dive deep into practical AI applications. Great thanks to Scrimba and TechUp Africa for selecting me as part of the beneficiaries to upskill myself towards my ArtificiaI Engineering Journey. This journey has equipped me with cutting-edge skills to build AI-powered apps and stay ahead in the ever-evolving tech landscape. During this incredible experience, I mastered technologies and tools like:  1. OpenAI API: Leveraging human-like text generation for smart applications.  2. HuggingFace: Exploring open-source ML tools to unlock new possibilities.  3. Embeddings & Vector Databases: Integrating specialized knowledge into apps for enhanced functionality with supabase.  4. AI Agents: Developing solutions that interact intelligently with the world.  5. OpenAI's Assistants API: Seamlessly embedding AI models into real-world applications.  6. LangChain: Empowering apps with context-aware AI language capabilities. This program also challenged me to experience hands solo projects that put my AI skills to the test, giving me the confidence to step into the role of an AI Engineer being one of the most in-demand roles to now. I’m grateful for the opportunity Scrimba & TechUp Africa for pushing my limits, enabling me explore the thrilling world of AI engineering. Not forgetting of the amazing instructors, Per Borgen, Bob Ziroll,Guil Hernandez who mentored me throughout the course path. It was my first exposure to Scrimba learning platform and i must say the learning path along with hands on Solo projects kept pushing me harder. One of the memorable experience which i know most students face is , you actually follow and copy the same implementations instructors provide you to test. You try the same code implementation but it will never work for you 😊 . For all you will know it's a comma or a fullstop somehwere 😂 .I learnt through this path we students need to identify the problem and along the way of getting solution we end up upskilling in problem solving indirectly which has a great impact in our endeavours. A quote i love most "DO HARD THINGS"-ALX GHANA, and it is really worth it, just give it a try and a pace . Cheers 🥂 to harnessing AI to build a smarter, more connected world, hoping to learn more from experts, Jason Quist 😎 Hugging Face OpenAI LangChain LangChain Developer Supabase#AIEngineer #ArtificialIntelligence #Innovation #WebDevelopment #TechGrowth #AchievementUnlocked

    ||Computer Science student||Cybersecurity Enthusiast||

    Before 2024, I had heard of LinkedIn but I wasn't really interested in it, not until my boss, Aferi Caleb encouraged all his interns to get an account. Can I say that internship with Alle AI was the start of a new me ?! 😂 I went through the profiles I followed and was like, "Girl! You have to sit up". I must say I was positively pressured! But almost a year?!. Being a Computer Science student, and knowing that it would take most of my time I was worried that I'll be all about tech( not that it's a bad thing 😂.) For me I've always wanted to be a little bit of everything, so in 2024 I decided to sign up for opportunities that could be a starting point for me. *The Alle-AI internship was my first venture. I must say even though it was a short one, I learnt a thing or two about Generative AI, sparking my love for the fascinating world of AI.  *The ALX AICE program, this was where I got to learn the adverse benefits of AI and I got to experience and apply the knowledge acquired on the various concepts that make up the fascinating world of AI. A big thank you to alx_africa and ALX GHANA *Public speaking has not always been my strength because I've always had problems with being timid and anxious, I then came across a 3 day conference called Life Link Tertiary Model United Nations (LTMUN), a simulation of the UN, where I got to represent Romania. Participating in thought provoking conversations during those three days was exhilarating, I must say. I went there a timid individual but I left with so much confidence in myself. I vividly remember I almost didn't attend because I was so anxious that I would have not been able to deliver but I'm glad I had my friends to encourage and pray with me. Another big Thank you toLife-Link Ghana To also challenge myself some more I accepted two portfolios; the deputy Women's Commissioner for SCISA and the Head Event Coordinator for APSUHOPSA KNUST for the 24/25 academic year. Looking at my growth over this period, I'm super proud of myself and grateful for all the opportunities.  More wins ahead!🥂 Watch this space ! Juliana Adjei Maranatha Yovonoo

    My Hummingbird 😊🌟 ALX pathway program got even more exciting, giving us the opportunity to gain insights from experts and people doing great things in the real world. Last week was purely about Finding your HUMMINGBIRD. The story of hummingbird is intriguing and relational to real life problems. "There was a wildfire in a forest and all the animals in the forest run out watching on helplessly as the fire obliterated their habitats. A little hummingbird couldn't stand the devastation the fire was causing. "We can't sit idle for the fire to destroy our homes whiles we do nothing! we have to do something", said the Hummingbird. In an effort to combat the wildfire, the HUMMINGBIRD all by itself scooped up water from a nearby river to douse the flames of the wildfire. He was often discouraged by the other animals. However, the Hummingbird continued it's small yet significant effort slowly but surely. It did its best though the fire wasn't entirely extinguished. In life, they are people who are like hummingbirds. They just can't watch on while problems persist. They try their best, bringing creativity and ingenuity to the challenging situations we find ourselves in, in this complex and rapidly-changing world. One of such beacons of inspirations is Barikisu Mahei. Who is Mahei Barkisu? Barikisu Mahei is a passionate advocate for girls’ education and gender equality, working with the Renel Ghana Foundation to champion girls' rights through impactful advocacy and philanthropy. As an Advocate for SDG5 (Gender Equality), she inspires young women to break barriers and pursue leadership roles. Her bold step to run as an Assemblywoman in the 2023 elections, though met with challenges, empowered countless young women to aim higher and take bold yet challenging initiatives. She has also been actively involved in charitable initiatives, supporting female prison inmates and orphans, demonstrating her commitment to serving marginalized groups. She has also actively participated in RENEL GHANA FOUNDATION projects aimed at improving access to education and empowering underserved communities. Barikisu Mahei's resilience in pursuing leadership, her hands-on approach to advocacy, and her passion for empowering others make her a beacon of hope. She’s taught me that CHANGE is about stepping up, staying true to your beliefs, and inspiring others through action. "BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD", She would often tell me. Thank you alx_africa for this opportunity . I have now got a refreshed perspective of life and a daring spirit to tackle challenges others see as "DIFFICULT". Who inspires you to make a difference? 🌟alx_africa Find My Place Closing Ceremony 🎤🌟 We had an enlightening conversation with the talented Jidenna, Grammy Nominated Artist and Cultural Ambassador Jidenna. The conversation emphasized the significance of knowing your history and using it as a foundation for future success. He stressed the importance of embracing technology to democratize artistic expression, enhance creativity, and drive positive change. Jidenna shared how his mother's support and his father's encouragement to tinker with technology helped shape his path. He even disguised his love for music by enrolling in a Music Science and Technology program at Stanford, a strategic move to meet his parents' expectations while following his passions. His advice: Always have a backup plan, be strategic, and pursue your creative dreams with determination. Among the key highlights of Jidenna's talk was the importance of manifestation. Jidenna emphasized the critical role of community support and how it played a significant part in his achievements. He also delved into his iconic brand and style. Drawing inspiration from his mother’s red hair, his father’s suits, and his own creativity, he created the signature "classic man" look, proving that visual representation plays a crucial role in standing out. He also opened up about his personal struggle with imposter syndrome and self-doubt. Jidenna shared his strategies for overcoming these feelings—through the use of generative AI. He explained how technology has empowered him to overcome imposter syndrome, democratize his dreams, and unlock his full potential. Throughout the event, Jidenna emphasized the transformative role of AI in the creative industry. He acknowledged the concerns about job displacement but highlighted AI’s ability to empower marginalized groups and provide new creative opportunities. AI can enhance the creative process and level the playing field, especially for those with limited resources. One of the most powerful moments was when Jidenna spoke about the importance of empowering women in tech. He discussed the barriers women face in the tech industry and how AI can help provide equal opportunities and improve access to healthcare in Africa. Jidenna urged the community to embrace technology as a tool for empowerment and positive change. Jidenna's message was clear: take control of technology, use it strategically, and allow it to fuel your creativity. He concluded by inspiring the audience to continue pursuing their dreams, empowering others, and using platforms for social good. #ALXLevelUp #LifeAtALX #ALXVA #ALXGraduate2024 #FindMyPlace #Jidenna #AI ALX GHANA #WomenInTech #TheALXEffect
