[PROJECT UPDATE] Dado Apartments, Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria. Our residential project in Ikoyi, Lagos is progressing well. Despite the ongoing site mobilization and the persistent October rains, we have maintained great momentum. The excavations are complete, the breaking of the piles is nearing completion, the formwork for the pile caps is being constructed, and we are preparing to place concrete for the pile caps, some reaching up to 300m³. A big step at the Cornerstone Developments Ghana AVA Residence after the cast on Sunday of the 1,000m2 + slab. The slab with a height of 7.3m being supported by Holding Towers was casted at a height of 36m. The cantilever with a width of 1.8m that runs along the entire northern face and the one on the southern face both required multilevel support towers making it a very technical cast. The cast was executed using a 56m and 60m Mobile Concrete Pumps to cover the entire footprint of the building.

The De Simone Group is please to announce that our subsidiary company in Nigeria, Monterosa Construction Ltd, has been awarded the contract to demolish an existing structure and construct the brand new 136-key Asaba Hotel in Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria. This multi story hotel will feature a variety of room types, including standard rooms, executive rooms, and short-stay apartments. The facility will also include an events hall, an industrial kitchen, an undercover outdoor seating area, and a pool set in a tropical environment, and will significantly enhance the hospitality landscape in the area with this new landmark. We are excited to dedicate the next two years to this project and to expand our brand. We are honored to have been selected as the contractor for this exceptional project. De Simone Ltd started the construction of the Greenfield Star Cement facility in Tema. On the 20th of Jan 2024 we launched a #slipform cast of two 34 meters high Cement Silos that ended on the 16th of February 2024.
