Firefly IO at Black Ourstory Festival 2025 – Celebrating Innovation & Culture! ✨🤖🎨 Over the weekend, Firefly IO had the incredible opportunity to be part of The Black Ourstory Festival. A powerful celebration of Black culture, heritage, and global contributions. Held at Coconut Grove Regency Hotel, Accra, this festival served as a dynamic platform for community engagement, education, and cultural expression. At Firefly IO, we believe that innovation and technology are key drivers of progress, and we were honoured to showcase how robotics and STEM are shaping the Black community's future. We demonstrated our locally manufactured robotic kit, The #XploreBot in action and its role in empowering young innovators. We had participants explore the exciting world of 3D printing and its potential in creative and industrial applications, and we engaged with brilliant young minds, proving that tech is not just a tool but a transformative force for change. It was a moment of connection, learning, and impact. Thursdays are for throwbacks, and today, we’re looking back to the start of the month when the Firefly IO team came together for a transformative retreat—setting the stage for an impactful year ahead. More than just strategy sessions, this was a time for reflection, growth, and strengthening our team synergy. Filled with laughter, learning, and plenty of good food, we reflected on the incredible impact we made last year and took deliberate steps toward achieving even greater feats in STEAM Education and the EdTech space at large.
