Heart for Children Africa

Heart for Children Africa is a nonprofit organization that has since 2008 helped to transform and educate children in deprived communities in Africa. What distinguishes Heart for Children Africa from other nonprofit organizations is the time and effort we dedicate to increasing access to education for children in deprived communities and transforming children through face to face interaction efficiently and wholeheartedly. We spend quality time with children in any chosen village. Members and volunteers from different sectors of life sacrifice each Christmas for these children; organizing parties, sharing gifts, spreading the good news, giving scholarships and inspiring confidence in them. We do this with joy and happiness. During our projects, we also take medical personnel with us to screen the children and provide medical support to their health. We are currently building a six unit classroom block for children in Tehey village who walk for miles in order to gain access to education. Last year we tried to solve this problem by donating bicycles; but we realized it is not a lasting solution.
