Scania Top Team is back! Top Team, the exciting contest to find the best team in Scania’s global service network, is back. Team Germany won in 2023; who’s going to be the winner this time around?    Some 8,000 service technicians and parts experts from 79 countries in Europe, the Americas, Asia, Oceania and Africa will be taking part. But only twelve teams can go forward to the world finals in Södertälje in May 2026, with just four making it through to the super final, which will be broadcast live by Scania. Autonomous trucks in the making! After countless hours of software development and simulations, some of our highly skilled software developers Hannan Razzaq, Fredrik Mazur, and Caroline Skoglund are trying their latest innovations. This happens on the test track, a place that plays a vital role in evaluating the performance of autonomous trucks in a controlled yet realistic environment.

Meet the team that brings autonomous trucks to life by taking the software from the test lab out on the road. Hear Sinchana, Caroline and Fredrik talk about what makes this team a winning concept.

“What a summer! Scania Internship Production was so much more than I could ever have expected,” Arvid Sundén-Cullberg says, smiling. In the summer of 2023, Arvid took part in the Scania Internship Production programme in Södertälje before beginning his Master’s year in Mechanical Engineering at Linköping Technical University. During this six-week internship, he gained valuable insights into what makes Scania’s production processes truly unique. The programme consists of five weeks of lectures, seminars, go-see activities, and hands-on daily work in production, and it ends with a final week dedicated to a themed group project and presentation. “The highlight of this internship was getting to work in production,” adds Arvid. "I feel like I’ve been able to get that missing link between academic studies and the reality of what goes on in production.” “Would I recommend Scania Internship Production? YES, with capital letters," he says. "Anyone with an interest in technology and production will have a field day getting insights into this world!”
