About us
The Africa Street MBA (AfSMBA) is an entrepreneurial platform that provides an integrated business support for start-ups and small businesses through capacity building, mentorship, business development services and funding for young entrepreneurs with innovative ideas or early-stage ventures. Expected Impact: The programme seeks to impact young people with world-class business knowledge based on top MBA curriculum and entrepreneurial course content. Bridging The Business Knowledge Gap In Ghana & Beyond: Africa Street MBA has been designed to bridge the business knowledge gap and help young people from poor backgrounds, and young people with low education to also have the opportunity to build world-class enterprises. The Youth Are Our Priority: Overall, the Africa Street MBA will impact 10,000 young people annually through its community (SME Hub) which encompasses activities including but not limited to events, accelerator programmes, mentorship, training, workshops/seminars and provision of seed funding. Africa Street MBA seeks to achieve the following specific objectives: 1. Increase in-country business knowledge among the youth thereby empowering the youth to be world-class entrepreneurs. 2. Reduce the start-up failure rate in Africa by providing platforms to entrepreneurs to access business education, technical and business advisory services, funding and access markets. 3. Empower the youth through entrepreneurship to be agents of change in reducing unemployment rate in Africa and beyond.
