From design to delivery, every step of the Brand Up Connect experience was a milestone worth celebrating. There were moments when we questioned if the investment of time, energy, and other resources was truly worth it. But deep down, we knew it aligned perfectly with our longstanding mission to build brands that impact today and tomorrow. Seeing the passion and innovation from everyone who attended reaffirmed our belief in this mission. Your stories and insights were inspiring and showcased the power of community. All smiles and cheer as we made this happen! This is the beginning of many more to come. We love to put up spaces for young people to connect, share ideas, and learn from creators with their skin in the game. We really appreciate you all for making it happen. More wins ahead. Let's Do Big Things together! #BrandUpConnect #scolpta #community
Last weekend, we were excited to engage 70+ young entrepreneurs in our maiden Brand Up Connect experience. Many young entrepreneurs in Africa often build brands in isolation, struggling to find a community that truly understands their journey and experiences. We aimed to unite these amazing people in a shared space to move conversations on how we can "Do Big Things." This call-to-action empowers people and businesses to scale up by leveraging strategy, data, and sustainability thinking. Moderated by Kwabena Osei Asare, we had Maxwell Dawson, Nabeela Abubakari, and Robert C. Amanor-boadu on our first panel to share their insights on the theme. Key takeaways: - Strategy is not just a document; it’s a daily action. - Brands should care about what their customers and consumers care about. - We need to rethink the saying, "The business of business is business", in our times. - Many mistakes made by early-stage founders can be avoided if decisions made are backed by data. - The global shift towards sustainability is opening new opportunities for brands to reposition. Thank you to everyone who joined us. Let’s keep pushing forward and making a positive impact together! #BrandUpConnect #scolpta #impact

As an UpTeam, we’ve spent the past few years in what we like to call the “figuring-out phase.” It’s been a journey marked by pains, errors, and well-earned wins. One of our biggest hurdles, deceptively simple on paper, was deciding whether scolpta should remain faceless or put a spotlight on the people behind it. Sounds straightforward, right? But as we all know, execution is rarely that simple. Another was when moving from scolptre to scolpta. Spot the difference? We had to make a bold decision and stand by it. Was there unanimous support? Not at all. However, what mattered most was that everyone was aligned with the broader vision. And with that alignment, we moved forward without looking back. Our journey this year is to “Do Big Things.” It has become our mantra, our driving force. Now, we’re excited to share that for the first time, we will be solely hosting an event "Brand Up Connect" in the coming days, with 90+ attendees already signed up. This means more to us- a reflection of the bold decisions that have brought us here and the big things we’re yet to accomplish. Some of them genuinely feel scary, because we try to bite more lately. We also started a podcast this year and have already put out 4 episodes, check them out here https://lnkd.in/dgsnKacy. Next week, we will launch an impact program we're co-building, and many other activities lined up for the year. This is a significant milestone for us, a step reflecting our commitment and growth. Wish us good luck, and remember, sometimes the simplest decisions can lead to the biggest transformations. Let's #DoBigThings together.
