Describe the bug
When booting the Live ISO with Gnome Boxes (which uses libvirt and qemu) and thus using the VirtIO virtual GPU to display graphics in a virtual machine, upon reaching the stage where SDDM loads the default session, in our case, Plasma X11, nothing happens.
When switching to a TTY to manually start X11 with the command startx, X11 crashes immediately.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Create a VM with Gnome Boxes
Select ISO as the boot medium
Select any entry in the GRUB menu of the Live ISO
System boots, but no graphical session starts
Expected behavior
Graphical session loads
Screenshots
Desktop (please complete the following information):
Nitrux (>= 2.0.0)
Additional context
A quick search yields the following result:
Those messages like "unw_get_proc_name failed: no unwind info found [-10]" tells me that apparently the glibc fails to talk properly with the kernel.
With this information, I downloaded the last ISO where we weren't using the XanMod kernel, Nitrux 1.8.0, and effectively the graphical session loads without a problem.
Note: At this time, we were using a mainline kernel built by Ubuntu. Not to be confused with the vanilla Ubuntu kernel shipped with Ubuntu releases.
