GTI’s Scholars
The GTI Taiwan Scholarship program is composed of outstanding researchers from the United States who perform valuable Taiwan policy research on topics such as aerospace technological innovation, urban redevelopment, and securing international diplomatic recognition of Taiwan. Selected candidates travel to Taiwan throughout the year to pursue their research projects.

GTI’s Visiting Fellows
The GTI Visiting Fellowship program enables a scholar and/or activist from Taiwan to pursue research in Washington, DC. GTI provides round-trip airfare from Taiwan and a monthly stipend to cover basic living expenses for a period up to three (3) months. Visiting fellows are provided with a workstation in GTI’s office, attend GTI events in the area, and have the opportunity to engage with US experts and officials.
