💡Last week, we hosted incommon-Innovative Circular Open at our bioclimatic premises, on an interesting and informative circularity workshop, in the context of the European Week for Waste Reduction!   🍽️As the 2024 thematic focus for #EWWR was "food waste", our workshop was also built around the global issue of losing food and the available solutions to this, including both ways to minimize food waste, and appropriately handle leftovers!   🌱Our 50 APIVITA SA people, who attended the workshop both on-site and online, discovered new ways to minimize their carbon footprint related to food waste, mainly focusing on composting, and got inspired to embrace more circular habits on their daily lives!    #foodwasteisoutoftaste #EWWR2024 #foodwaste #apivita #pollinatebeauty #goodpractice #circularity #sustainability #incommongr #organicwaste #knowledge #tools

⛵On the weekend of November 16th and 17th, 2024, we travelled with Aegean Rebreath to Spetses, where we enforced underwater cleanups, plastics collection for research purposes, and ghost-nets retrieval, contributing to alleviating our seas from a considerable volume of waste!   ⚓Our joint 2024 actions, as both members of 1% for the Planet, finished on the island of Spetses, following initiatives in three other destinations, counting more than 4,500 items collected from the sea bottom, overall! 🙏Special thanks to the team of APIVITA SA volunteers, who devoted their time and energy actively supporting Aegean Rebreath on the field!   💪However, there is still so much waste out there, pinpointing the impulsive need to continue our initiatives and enhance our endeavors for a better future and a cleaner world!   🧭See you next year on the fields of action! #apivita #apivitaexperience #aegeanrebreath #BeOnePercentBetter #togetherforthefutureofourseas #pollinatebeauty

Last week, on Thursday, October 31st, 2024 APIVITA SA participated in the "ESG is not an option" Forum, organized by CCI France Grèce in collaboration with CSRHELLAS Hellas, at The Ellinikon Experience Center.   The Forum focused on 3 main pillars, with relevant Round Tables (ESG in practice, Carbon Footprint, B-Corp Certification).
