Today the European Commission revealed the Clean Industrial Deal, a plan for EU competitiveness and decarbonization. The plan includes lowering #energy prices, creating quality #jobs and the right conditions for companies to thrive. ⭐ The Clean Industrial Deal will mobilize over €100 billion to support EU-made clean manufacturing. The EC aims to: 📌 adopt a "Circular Economy Act" in 2026 to ensure that scarce materials are used and reused efficiently. The aim is to have 24% of materials circular by 2030.  📌 strengthen the Innovation Fund and propose an "Industrial Decarbonization Bank". 📌 adopt a new Clean Industrial Deal State Aid Framework to accelerate the approval of state aid to roll out renewable energy, decarbonize industry and ensure sufficient manufacturing capacity of clean tech.  📌 amend the "InvestEU Regulation" to increase the deployment of clean tech, clean mobility and waste reduction with a budget of €50 billion. 📌 launch a dedicated call under Horizon Europe to stimulate research and innovation in these areas 📌 launch the first "Clean Trade and Investment Partnerships" to diversify supply chains and forge mutually beneficial deals  📌 establish a "Union of Skills" to support the transition to a low-carbon economy, including skills in clean technologies, digitalization, and entrepreneurship.  👉 Read more at: https://lnkd.in/dwu3Ub4Y #CleanIndustrialDeal #CleanEnergy #CleanManufacturing #CleanTech #Circularity #CircularEconomy #Bioeconomy

🌱 A New Era for the European Bioeconomy! 🌱 On Monday, February 10th, we proudly celebrated the launch of the European Bioeconomy Clusters Alliance (EBCA) in Brussels — a groundbreaking initiative bringing together 14 leading national associations and regional clusters from 11 EU Member States to amplify the voice of the bioeconomy sector in Europe! 🌍✨ No country can transition to a sustainable bioeconomy alone - collaboration is the key to driving real change. The recently launched ECOFI Manifesto 2024-2029 highlights the critical need for EU policymakers to prioritize innovation, circularity and sustainability in agriculture. 🌍 🔄 OBFs include organic fertilizers, organo-mineral fertilizers, organic soil improvers, and they are at the heart of a sustainable future in farming. These innovative products improve soil health, enhance nutrient cycles and reduce environmental impact, helping farmers stay competitive while protecting our planet. 🔄 At GBC, we represent the organic fertilizer producers who are committed to using renewable resources and circular economy practices.
