Our own Esmeralda and Afroditi recently visited the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence of the University of Cyprus in Nicosia, to kick-off our new project ‘ EUSOME ’ !!🎉🎉 Over two incredible days, the project team gathered together in person for the first time to organise the upcoming tasks, exchange insights about our individual strengths and responsibilities and prepare for the exciting journey ahead🌟 Funded by Horizon Europe 🇪🇺, EUSOME stands for ‘Enabling Autonomous Aerial Systems through Operational Methods and Technological Enhancements’. Though the title is a mouthful, our goal is simple to understand; we aim to establish Innovative Aerial Mobility Excellence Hubs, focusing on the advancement of IAM technologies, regulations & acceptance in the South-East Mediterranean region and beyond 🌍🌍 Our team at HUSI will be focusing on regulatory research into U-space best practices ⚖️ & the strategic management of project communication, dissemination, and exploitation activities📢📢. It’s a Wrap! The EUSOME Excellence Hub Project kick-off meeting at the University of Cyprus campus has concluded!
