Last week, the #INHERIT_eu consortium partners gathered at CARTIF headquarters in Valladolid, Spain, for the second Project Meeting. 📈 During the two-day meeting, partners had the opportunity to review the project's progress and explore the innovations showcased at the Spanish pilot site: the historic Monastery of Ntra. Sra. del Prado. 💒 The monastery serves as a living example of how #heritage buildings can be integrated with modern technology. It features several advanced systems, including Domestic Hot Water (DHW) installations, presence sensors, and lighting regulators. Read more: https://lnkd.in/eH3BfPDm

Following up on the first workshop held in May 2024, the #INHERIT_eu project launches the new "Co-designing Digital Services for Sustainable Cultural Heritage Buildings – Round 2" #workshop. 💻 Join the online event to provide feedback and recommendations about the digital services designed by the project! The #InheritMSF online kickoff attracted five prominent speakers and approximately 70 participants. The discussion focused on the role of the #NEB in managing #CulturalHeritage buildings for sustainable change, highlighting effective practices and the journey from research to implementation. 🗣 Pamela Bartar from the Centre for Social Innovation, co-host of the event: “NEB’s holistic approach aligns well with these management practices, ensuring that cultural heritage is preserved not just as static monuments but as living parts of our communities and environments".

The #INHERIT_eu project aims to create innovative solutions to improve the energy efficiency, climate resilience, accessibility, and inclusiveness of historic buildings. Our project will also implement a capacity-building program for cultural heritage operators and local communities to enhance social impact. Want to know more?
