🚩Support our work in Trineflex project! 💡Trineflex is a research project that aims to transform energy-intensive process industries by integrating energy, process, and feedstock flexibility. 🚀 The Trineflex Background Knowledge (available at: https://lnkd.in/dQf2nPq9) is the collection and organization of training material related to the main Trineflex topics, useful for enhancing the mutual knowledge and cooperation within the partnership and to better facilitate the transfer of project results for the target audiences. 💡It is structured into 4 topics (Energy Flexibility, Digitalisation, Technologies and Production Processes), with 19 Training Units (all together 51 lessons). Metadata are also available for each Training Unit, as well as a comprehensive Trineflex Glossary organised for Topic and Training Units. 🚀 Today marks a milestone for the THESEUS project! We are officially launching the research efforts to establish Greece's first Hub for Circularity (H4C), a pivotal step towards fostering a #sustainable and climate-neutral future. 💡 With 52 dedicated partners gathered in #Athens, this kick-off meeting sets the stage for #collaboration and #innovation as we design the blueprint for the project's success. 🧩 The second day of the Theseus Hub4Circularity project began with an inspiring introduction by Dr. Angelos Amditis, the Research and Development Director of ICCS - NTUA and Director of the I-SENSEGroup/ICCS. Dr. Amditis set the tone for the day's discussions by highlighting the project's #vision and its transformative potential for circular economy practices in Greece. 🟩 Following this, Charalampos K. Manousiadis, the Lead Project Manager, took the stage to present a comprehensive outline of the initial steps and strategic goals. His presentation provided a clear roadmap for the consortium's collaborative efforts, focusing on milestones, priorities, and expected outcomes. 🟢 Next, Marilena Xarcha from the I-SENSEGroup/ICCS delivered a focused presentation on the administrative framework of the #THESEUSproject. Her talk emphasized the critical procedures and guidelines to be followed, ensuring a seamless and efficient implementation of the project's ambitious goals. We are excited to announce the start of the Theseus Hub4Circularity project's highly anticipated kickoff meeting, a three-day event in Athens! 🎉 Dr. Angelos Amditis, Research & Development Director at I-SENSEGroup/ICCS, opened the kickoff meeting with an inspiring speech, outlining the ambitious goals of this transformative initiative; which include establishing the first circularity hub in Greece! 🥇 #THESEUS will foster a circular transition within Attica and other regions through five innovation pillars, ensuring a systemic holistic approach. These pillars include technical innovations, symbiotic flows, and closed-loop systems for water, energy, materials, digitalization, and robotics. Governance plays a key role, with the involvement of the Attica Region and Municipalities, enhanced by cross-sectoral collaboration. 📝Today’s agenda starts with keynote speeches by prominent leaders in circular economy innovation, followed by in-depth sessions exploring strategic approaches to sustainability.
