La Luna di Vasilika ONLUS

Vasilika Moon was founded in 2016 to help refugees in Greece. From 2016 to 2019 we worked in Thessaloniki area. Since 2020 we are operating in Corinth and Athens area. Thanks to qualified volunteers, we organize english, science, geography and arts lessons in our school in Corinto. There, we also run a Community Center, where refugees, tourists, local people and anyone passing by can meet and get to know other cultures, in order to promote integration. We offer artistic, recreational and psychomotor activities for children and adults, in order to support them from all points of view. We also opened a Freeshop where we distribute hygiene and baby products. We provide health care assistance with doctors, nurses, psychologists. In Athens, we work in Victoria Center where we offer social, medical, psychological, law assistance in cooperation with other organizations and support of people. We have created a welcoming and comfortable environment, where people looking for help can spend a moment of tranquility, maybe have a hot drink and tell their stories and what they need. We also contribute to a freeshop run by different organizations to support people in extreme situations with food. We strongly believe that all humans are equal and deserve to live in a safe place and to be helped when life has forced them to flee.
