Την Δευτέρα 25 Νοεμβρίου παραδόθηκε στον Πρωθυπουργό Kyriakos Mitsotakis το σχέδιο για την μετάβαση της Ελλάδας στην εποχή της Τεχνητής Νοημοσύνης. Είμαστε υπερήφανοι για την συνεισφορά του NCSR "DEMOKRITOS" στο σχέδιο αυτό. We are delighted to announce a new collaboration aimed at promoting innovation and entrepreneurship. On October 30th, NCSR "DEMOKRITOS" "and the business accelerator egg – enter•grow•go at Eurobank, formalized their partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding. This initiative strengthens the bridge between research and business, offering support to startups and spin-offs through joint initiatives, educational programs, and mentorship. Dr. George Nounesis, Director and Chairman of the Board at NCSR "DEMOKRITOS," signed the agreement alongside Ms. Roula Bachtalia, Head of Venture Banking and Member of the egg Coordinating Committee, representing Eurobank. Together, we are dedicated to enhancing Greece’s innovation ecosystem and transforming ideas into impactful ventures. I recently had the unique opportunity to join the Greek Delegation of fellow scientists from Athena Research Center and Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH) on a productive visit to China, with the aim to foster collaboration between our institutions and leading Chinese research centres. For NCSR "DEMOKRITOS" these discussions highlighted cultural and technological synergies, particularly around the application of digital technologies in cultural heritage such as AiTHERION - the project developed with the Ministry of Culture that integrates digital tools to create immersive experiences in ancient Greek philosophy. These deliberations have led to reciprocal visits with Chinese institutions, as well as a memorandum of cooperation with Shanghai Jiao Tong University, focused on #AI, #culture, and #philosophy. With valued support from the Chinese Embassy in Greece, our mission included visits to the The Palace Museum in Beijing, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China (ISTIC) as well as Huawei and Xiaomi Technology marking a significant advancement in fostering enduring research partnerships in areas of mutual interest. https://lnkd.in/dHQag8YR #ResearchCollaboration #CulturalHeritage #DigitalTransformation #Innovation
