At the 4th Innovation Forum of the Hellenic-German Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Mihalis Kefalogiannis, Head of the IT Innovation Center at OTE Group, shared valuable insights on how Artificial Intelligence (#AI) is transforming the telecommunications industry. For years, OTE Group has been leveraging AI to enhance both its operations and customer service. One key example highlighted by Mr. Kefalogiannis was Predictive Maintenance, a cutting-edge AI-driven system that helps predict and prevent network equipment failures on COSMOTE, ensuring optimal service levels for customers. During his speech, Mr. Kefalogiannis addressed the challenges of adopting AI in business environments, emphasizing the importance of training both employees and customers to harness its full potential. He remarked: "The use of AI demands a new approach to education and awareness, making investment in targeted training programs essential for both employees and customers. COSMOTE is committed to this, continuously developing initiatives to ensure everyone can benefit from the transformative power of AI". Dynamic Participation of the OTE Group R&D at Infocom 2024 with the coordination of 8 Sessions and 54 Presentations.   Proud to announce that the R&D of the OTE Group had an exceptional presence at the Infocom World 2024 International Conference & Exhibition  organized by SmartPress S.A. Our R&D team hosted a full-day research-oriented Workshop entitled "Moving from Research Studies and Trials towards an Implementation of Beneficial Use Cases and Innovative Market Applications via the Inclusion of B5G/6G and AI". The Workshop was organized in eight (-8-) thematic Sessions, comprised fifty-four (-54-) distinct presentations with speakers from Greece and abroad, seven (-7-) of which had been explicitly organized around eight (-8-) EU-funded research programs in which the OTE Group is involved, as prime actor: AMBITIOUS Project (7 presentations), SUNRISE-6G (4 presentations), DATAMITE (5 presentations), NEMO and HE CyberNEMO Project HE CyberNEMO Project (8 presentations), 6G-PATH where OTE is project coordinator (13 presentations), 6G-INTENSE Project (4 presentations), DeployAI (4 presentations).
