This substantial cooling effect helps maintain a more comfortable indoor climate. ❄️ The green roof's impact on indoor temperatures is also noteworthy, with the average indoor temperature of the non-air-conditioned building decreasing by up to 0.7 °C. This temperature reduction translates into significant energy savings, as the building's annual cooling and heating needs are considerably lowered. 💰 Beyond energy efficiency, green roofs also contribute to mitigating urban heat island effects. By reducing surface temperatures and providing solar protection and cooling through evapotranspiration, green roofs help lower the ambient temperature and reduce the sensible heat released to the atmosphere. Τα δώματα της κατοικίας στην πλειοψηφία τους καλύπτονται με φύτευση, συνδέοντας αρμονικά το φυσικό ανάγλυφο της περιοχής με το κτίριο. Τον αρχιτεκτονικό σχεδιασμό του Viglostasi εκπόνησε το studio Block722. Για την κατασκευή της υποδομής των φυτεμένων δωμάτων επιλέχθηκε ο ημιεντατικός τύπος Prasini Stegi DIADEM-350, με αποστραγγιστικό δίκτυο diadrain-40H.Tα συστήματα υποδομής φυτεμένου δώματος της PRASINI STEGI είναι πιστοποιημένα από τον ΕΟΤΑ European Technical Assessment σύμφωνα με την έγκριση ΕΤΑ 17/1015.
