Πρόσφατα, ένα ενδιαφέρον άρθρο στη LIFO προσέγγισε το θέμα της αλλαγής της κοινωνικής αντίληψης για μια ασθένεια η οποία, ενώ χάρη στις ιατρικές εξελίξεις δεν θεωρείται πλέον θανατηφόρα, συνεχίζει να αντιμετωπίζεται με φόβο, άγνοια και προκατάληψη.
