The event was a great success, and we’re thrilled to have been part of it! Many thanks to Koen Duyck & Bas Vos !!! Department of Civil Engineering - KU Leuven & Hydraulics and Geotechnics Bruges Campus contributions included insightful presentations on: 🔹 Ongoing research into soil ageing effects on monopiles for offshore wind systems 🌬️from our SAGE-SAND project by prof. Stijn François & George Anoyatis (hadrien rattez Université catholique de Louvain, Frederic Collin University of Liège) 🔹 Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs) for soil-pile interaction modeling 🤖📊🌍by George Anoyatis & Stijn François & many thanks to Aggelos Tsikas Quantum Neural Technologies (QN⊗T) SA We were particularly delighted to witness the active participation of our Master’s students from KU Leuven 🎓✨, whose enthusiasm and engagement brought fresh perspectives to the discussions. A heartfelt thanks to VOTQUENNE FOUNDATIONS ir.Bart Cloet Ludovic Huysentruyt Jasper Vandaele for supporting their involvement 🙌👏 and helping us inspire the next generation of geotechnical engineers. It was also wonderful to see representation from DFI Europe – thank you Maurice Bottiau, Davy Maes, and Monika De Vos 🌟 Together, we are advancing the boundaries of geotechnical engineering🌱 and contributing to innovations that matter. Looking forward to more collaborations and exciting developments in the future! #GeotechnicalEngineering #SoilMechanics #OffshoreWind 🌊⚡ #PINNs #Research #Education #Innovation
