🎊We are pleased to share the successful conclusion of the third round of the Sustainability Acceleration Programme of SDG House Greece! The cohort launched in November 2024, with 16 startups & SMEs joining our programme and embarking on a 2-month journey to incorporate sustainability practices into the core of their business and designing tangible sustainability strategies that will help them enhance their competitiveness and become more future-proof. Tailored around their specific businesses and with hands-on support, during the programme the participants, among other, worked on mapping their challenges and opportunities, looked into materiality issues, compliance, value chains, methodologies to collect the right data and effective communication. Last week the #SDGHouseGreece team joined the 30 years anniversary of the EEA and Norway Grants for an evening celebrating multilateral collaboration! For 30 years EEA and Norway Grants have been contributing to the promotion of social justice and supporting the green and sustainable development in Greece. It's on! The participants of the 3rd round of our Sustainability Acceleration Programme explored Sustainability Strategy and Transition Thinking. Delving into the why's, what's, and how's of sustainability, they took the first step in developing their sustainability strategy. This first workshop, powered by TheRockGroup (TRG), is part of a series aimed at helping the participating ventures incorporate sustainability practices for growth and enhanced business development. What an incredible evening! Solution builders, change-makers and members of the wider impact community came together, yesterday, for a unique event on sustainability ecosystem building, organized by SDG House Greece and the Embassy of the Netherlands in Greece.   The event was kicked off by Ambassador Susanna Terstal, who welcomed this diverse group of attendees, fostering sustainability and impact-driven innovation in Greece. The evening featured a focused panel discussion on sustainability in the Greek SME business environment, with insights from Natalia Speranskagia of Enervek Recharge, Dimitris Axiotis of CorkCycle, and Angeliki Savvidou, also known as #FinanceLady.
