Job Description
Position Overview:
We are searching for an innovative and people-focused Chief People Officer (CPO) to join our forward-thinking gaming company. As a strategic leader and cultural architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organizational structure, fostering an inclusive and dynamic workplace culture, and ensuring the alignment of our people strategies with the company’s mission to create immersive gaming experiences. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading HR functions, driving cultural transformation, and implementing strategic initiatives that empower teams to thrive in a creative and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a people strategy that supports the company’s growth objectives, enhances employee engagement, and strengthens organizational culture.
- Cultural Stewardship:
- Champion a positive, inclusive, and innovative workplace culture that reflects our values and inspires collaboration and creativity across all teams.
- Talent Acquisition & Development:
- Lead efforts to attract, recruit, and retain top-tier talent, particularly in game development and creative roles. Build robust training and development programs to nurture employee growth and leadership potential.
- Employee Experience:
- Design and implement initiatives that enhance the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to engagement and retention, ensuring a seamless and rewarding experience at every touchpoint.
- Performance Optimization:
- Oversee the performance management framework, including goal setting, feedback, and professional development plans, to drive high performance and accountability.
- Organizational Design & Development:
- Partner with leadership to align organizational structure, processes, and policies with the company’s goals. Drive change management initiatives to adapt to evolving business needs.
- Advocacy & Employee Relations:
- Act as a trusted advisor for employees and leadership, fostering open communication and addressing workplace challenges with empathy and effectiveness.
- HR Operations:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, optimize HR systems, and oversee benefits and payroll to maintain operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably within the gaming, tech, or creative industries.
- Expertise in building and scaling workplace culture and organizational strategies in dynamic environments.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire across all levels.
- Strong track record in talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and execution.
- Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the unique challenges in the industry.
