How can i make GPS game need some guide to start

Hi everyone,

I am new in using Google map apis i am not sure which forum should i join. My major concern are to develop a gps based game that will show person's public profile from facebook or twitter and it tell where is every one in the location map.

I have question here

1) can i make this game online using google map apis? if yes then how can i do that.?

2) I am not sure how this is possible , i mean how can i obtain other peoples location do i need mobiles numbers from them?

Please guide me i am very newbee in this.
