𝗠𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 We are pleased to be featured in Convergence Blended Finance’s State of Blended Finance 2024: Climate Edition. Convergence awarded ADM Capital a proof-of-concept grant for our Indonesian climate impact strategy, highlighting the role blended finance can play in driving private investments at scale while identifying the appropriate solutions in developing regions such as Indonesia.    With the Indonesian government focused on investment into agriculture to reduce emissions and poverty, and smallholder farms accounting for more than 85% of all cocoa, rubber and coffee production as well as 40% of all palm oil produced in Indonesia, ADM Capital believes that the strategy’s partnership model and financing for SMEs can contribute positively to Indonesia’s environmental and social agendas. As investors scrutinize investment managers' financed emissions, there is no doubt that 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 considerations have come into focus.   Lisa Genasci, Managing Director and Head of Sustainability Finance, spoke at the New Private Markets Responsible Investment Forum Asia 2024 in Singapore and discussed the topic with fellow panellists: “𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘅 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘁𝘆”. With our investment team, Deng Yiqi and Matthew Bleiman, taking the opportunity to network and discuss transaction for our sustainability integrated private debt approach.   There is a consensus that measurement and disclosure of environmental impacts, including upstream and downstream emissions, should be done at the portfolio level. Not only does this provide a clearer picture of risks and opportunities, but it also enables managers to implement effective mitigants through engagement and disclose on environmental risks. ADM Capital finances the "missing middle"— the underserved group often overlooked by traditional banks and financial institutions. • Technical assistance grant grants support our portfolio companies by enabling them to train farmers in better agricultural practices, including regenerative methods. They also promote traceability of agricultural commodity products and deliver baseline assessments to quantify impact. • Loan covenants serve as an incentive mechanism for our portfolio companies to improve and change their practices.
