The Department of Infectious Diseases and Public Health was established in July 2017 with the mission to achieve excellence in teaching and research in veterinary studies, contribute to One Health education in Hong Kong, train veterinary professionals, and conduct state-of-the-art research to address emerging public and animal health issues.

Similar social personalities strongly influence friendships in humans, yet we know relatively little about how animals choose their friends.
