Had a fantastic time today at 𝗔𝗜 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀 hosted by DotAi.HK. The founders' practical experiences were truly inspiring! Key automation pitfalls: ✦ Task vs user-focused: Prioritize user needs over just tech features ✦ One-sided expectations: Balance needs, not just executive voices ✦ Missing checkpoints: Without monitoring, problems are harder to fix 🔖 These insights inspired me to explore better ways to integrate automation in marketing, especially using 'Input-Process-Action' framework: 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 Use simple tools like extensions for competitor analysis/ trending content. This helps the team gather insights without complex systems, minimizing resource waste. 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 Apply the 80/20 rule by focusing on high-impact campaigns. Set phase-based checkpoints and keep successful templates, like standardized seasonal email workflows, to optimize campaigns based on past experiences. From this session, I realized that 𝘿𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙊𝙋 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩, 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, rather than aiming for a comprehensive one from the start.
