The 2nd A*STAR IDL – Institute Pasteur Joint Forum (12-13 Nov) concluded successfully this week, emphasising the importance of cross-regional collaboration in combating tropical infectious diseases and strengthening pandemic preparedness. Speakers from Institut Pasteur and Asia-Pacific member institutes from the Pasteur Network highlighted breakthrough research on vector-borne infections, antimicrobial resistance, and respiratory diseases. Their insights sparked engaging discussions, fostering new avenues for collaboration to address urgent public health challenges. It is inspiring to see the shared momentum driving innovation and amplifying impact on global health as our collaborative network continues to grow.
