#GreenBuilding #Coexistence #Nature Guilin is renowned for its stunning natural landscape. In addition to functioning as a sustainable spinning and garment manufacturing plant, 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗹, located in Guilin, is also an award-winning green building. It serves as a bridge between development and nature, enabling them to coexist and thrive, thereby realising an economic development model that is in harmony with the environment and society. 🌱 Various green building elements have been incorporated into Integral’s design, including sustainable materials and energy-saving systems. The building clusters were carefully planned to co-exist with the natural landscape while protecting biodiversity. By prioritising proximity in the procurement of raw materials, the facade features local blue bricks as exterior walls, paying tribute to traditional architectural culture. Layers of recycled bamboo panel on the facade enhance ventilation and natural light. ♻️ Furthermore, the use of solar panels and expansive glass walls enhances both comfort and the building’s low carbon footprint. Sustainability is woven into every aspect of the design - stretches of road curbs are crafted from defective buttons, plastic scraps and cut-offs from the button factory, while wood from crates originally used for transporting large goods has been upcycled to produce solid indoor furniture. 🪑 Integral comprehensively covers the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals. This award-winning project has been recognised across professional platforms, including the Grand Award at Green Building Award 2023 in the New Buildings Category (Completed Projects – Commercial) and Special Citation on United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, as well as the Grand Award at WorldGBC’s 2024 Asia Pacific Leadership in Green Building Awards – Leadership in Sustainable Design and Performance Award (Commercial Projects). 🌟 Integral has become a shining example and a new standard for green buildings. It provides inspiration for future development projects, highlighting the importance of respecting nature and fostering collaborative efforts to create sustainable development and a better future. #Integral #Biodiversity #Sustainability
