【GBACNA’s Founding President addressed the “ESG Analytics Sustainable Green Finance Technology Symposium,” highlighting innovative approaches to green development】   In a rapidly changing global environment, businesses are facing increasingly severe challenges in sustainable development. The event brought together experts from Hong Kong, the mainland, and overseas to share their insights and experiences in the fields of ESG and green financial technologies, providing valuable guidance for promoting corporate sustainability. 💪 ⭐Event Highlights: 📌 Mr. Dennis Wu, Founding President of GBACNA and the CEO and Executive Director of AEC Group, spoke on "Leveraging Intelligent Technology - GBA ESG Challenges and Opportunities" He discussed how smart technology is shaping the future of sustainable development and emphasized the importance of digital transformation for enterprises. 📌 Professor Emil Chan, Co-Chair of the Hong Kong Digital Finance Association, highlighted the significance of regulatory technology in enhancing transparency and compliance in his presentation on "RegTech and ESG Compliance Focus," urging companies to strengthen their technological applications to meet challenges. 📌 Dr. Hin-Lap Yip, Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering School of Energy and Environment Hong Kong Institute for Clean Energy at the City University of Hong Kong explored the critical role of green technology in addressing environmental challenges in his talk on "Embracing Green Innovation via Green Tech," encouraging more companies to adopt innovative solutions. 📌 Mr. Dennis Wu also took part in a thorough discussion with multiple experts, including Ms. Tracy Zhou, Assistant Chief Consultant for Carbon and ESG Programs at the Hong Kong Productivity Council; Professor Emil Chan; and Dr. Hin-Lap Yip. [HKCERT released the Annual Cyber Security Outlook] Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team (HKCERT) has summarised the #cybersecurity🔐situation in 2024 as well as released a #security outlook for 2025📊 In 2024, #HKCERT handled 12,536 #securityincidents. #Phishing accounted for over half of all cases, primarily targeting the #banking, #finance, and #epayment sectors💫 HKCERT also identified the five key #cybersecurity risks for 2025. 1. 🎉The first day of the HKCERT CTF 2024 final has concluded! Contestants showcased their expertise, creative thinking, and teamwork, making it a true feast of cybersecurity technology! After a day of intense competition, the results for the first day are in! The current top three teams all from the international group, they are r4kapig, The Few Chosen, and Jane Street Amateurs. After the competition, we interviewed the current first-place team, r4kapig 🚩. Discussing the most challenging issues in the competition, the team members mentioned that they used the tools provided by the organizers, combined creative problem-solving approaches, and made repeated attempts until they successfully solved the problems. They also noted that the difficulty of this competition matched the KOH ("King of the Hill") format, testing their technical skills and sparking innovative thinking, with each round full of suspense. Although the first day of the competition has come to an end, more exciting and intense challenges await the contestants tomorrow. How will the rankings change, and will other teams rise and make a comeback? Let's wait and see👀!
