We had the privilege of joining Oxfam Hong Kong’s community visit in Sham Shui Po last week. As we continue to support their initiatives since 2022, this experience allowed us to connect directly with beneficiaries—low-income families facing these challenges daily. Oxfam is a global organisation committed to creating a world without poverty through its advocacy, development, and humanitarian work. Their research on subdivided households in extreme weather highlights that nearly 60% of respondents are dissatisfied with the ventilation in their homes, resulting in significant heat retention and discomfort. During our visit, we gained valuable insights into the impacts of climate change on housing conditions and learned about Oxfam's latest project to provide indoor cooling solutions—cooling paint and window stickers—to help alleviate electricity costs for low-income families. At Concept 4, we believe in supporting our local community, and we are truly inspired by Oxfam’s commitment to building a more equitable society. We look forward to strengthening our partnership with them in the future, working together with a meaningful purpose to support these beneficiaries! 🤝💚 #Oxfam #CommunityEngagement #PovertyAlleviation #SocialImpact

With support from Oxfam Hong Kong, i2Cool, in partnership with the Sham Ching Youth Association and the Home Affairs Department Sham Shui Po District Office, distributed our energy-free cooling solution, iFilm, to residents of subdivided flats in Sham Shui Po on November 12th. At the event, we also introduced the technology behind iFilm and shared its practical use. For many of these residents, the sweltering summer heat and high electricity bills are a real challenge. We hope that iFilm offers a simple and effective way to help them stay cool while reducing their energy expenses. This is just the beginning——We’re dedicated to reaching more communities, providing practical relief, and showing that we truly care. #ElectricityFreeCooling #HongKong
