Ein tolles Haus mitten im Zentrum, aber sehr ruhig und sicher! Die Zimmer sehr großzügig und sauber, tolles Bad! Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich, sie erfüllen einem jeglichen Wunsch! Die Terrasse und die Loungeecke laden zum verweilen ein!

Ficamos 10 dias na acomodação, então podemos avaliar com critério. Quartos limpos e organizados, cama e chuveiro deliciosos, staff gentil e atencioso, café da manhã (sob demanda) muito bom e feito com carinho, wifi excelente, serviço de lavanderia eficiente, localização fantástica, perto de supermercados, restaurantes, farmácias, barbeiro, etc. Em 20 minutos a pé você está no V&A Waterfront, caminhando por locais seguros e movimentados. Ou seja, muito perto do ponto de agito, mas por um valor bem mais acessível e num local bem tranquilo. Só para destacar, nosso banheiro apresentou uma goteira no teto no penúltimo dia, mas o staff logo se prontificou a nos trocar de quarto. O único ponto que poderia e deveria melhorar é o ar condicionado, que aquecia menos do que seria desejável, mesmo ligado no máximo. Mas isso não chegou a ser um problema.

A perfect stay if you are looking for a beautiful, updated but also charming, clean and comfortable stay at a guesthouse that has personality. The breakfasts were very good especially the juice and creamy coconut oats and the staff are incredibly friendly. Great location for me as i was looking for a place that was in a quieter neighbourhood but also close to the waterfront. I also stayed in hotels near the v&a and simpler guest houses in camps bay but harpers house was my favourite. It is an older building however so i was mindful to be more quiet as the walls are not as soundproof compared to regular buildings. I stayed here as a solo female traveler and loved it - i wasn’t looking to meet other travelers for this part of my stay but more a comfortable and cute place to go back to after my activities in the day. Its very easy and reasonable to get around Cape Town in ubers so this location was perfect.

We stayed at harpers house at the end of Oct. in 2022 and it was the best accomodation of our SA-Tour. The rooms are clean and nice, with a lot of love for detail and good equipped. The breakfast was delicious and plenty, prepared by a very lovely and great staff. The Location itself is great in a sidestreet at GreenPoint, quiet neihborhood, but well located with bakery, restaurant, supermarket& liquorstore near by, also just a few minutes Uber-Ride from V&A-Waterfront. A beatiful outside area with trees&birds just in front of the balconies. Safe Parking-Space on the property. We felt safe and very warm welcomed and treated like good friends. We loved our stay, dear HarpersHouse-team, thank you for everything, god bless you, Elke&Johannes

Great location—it was secure and very easy to walk to the waterfront. It was also very easy to catch an Uber on the relatively low-traffic street. The property itself is clearly very well managed, the staff are very friendly, and the included breakfast was fantastic.

The service is amazing. It’s decorated so beautifully. We loved every minute of our stay here and cannot wait to return I especially loved the bathroom decor and the shower gel provided, great smelling and felt very premium

Heerlijk hotel , smaakvol ingericht , zeer vriendelijk personeel. Sommige kamers zijn klein, maar dat neem je graag voor lief. Keuze ontbijt, gratis water/koffie en thee op de kamer. Neem wel de tijd voor het ontbijt, het uitserveren gaat niet zo snel , maar dan krijg je wel wat!

A great find. Lovely location, great breakfast and lovely staff. Parking was free and very useful Was able to walk into The waterfront and enjoy all that it offers. Was located opposite the stadium.

My sister and I stayed at Harpers House for 4 nights during our 2 weeks in South Africa. We had a top floor room and have no complaints about the room. it was spacious and had everything we needed. As others wrote, it can be a bit noisy (doors shut loudly and floors can be creaky), but there are only a handful of rooms, so it more or less is first thing in the morning and not super late at night. Breakfast was lovely and you have a choice of being outside or inside. We took advantage of the nice weather and had a bottle of wine outside at night, one evening. The location was good for us and we took advantage of the grocery store next store. We ubered everywhere, and didn't stick around the area we were in, since we had plans for our entire 4 days, but I definitely felt safe and the security of getting in and out of the property, was good. We also asked HH to help is with a Driver to pick us up from the airport, as well as to recommend a half day tour guide for Boulders beach and they set us up with great drivers/tour guides. We also took advantage of their sister property, Gorgeous George, for dinner and drinks our first night. That was very fun. We loved our stay here and highly recommend it. My only con, which I shared with the hotel, is they had a candle wax burning on the first floor that was SO STRONG that was bothersome. You won't regret staying at this small boutique hotel.

Stayed for 2 nights in a superior room (no 1) on the ground floor. Staff at Harpers House were all really helpful and nothing was too much hassle - from storing our bags on day 1 following an early arrival to using the shower facilities early afternoon on final day before we headed to the airport. And the breakfast was really good - with plenty of options. But a few niggles - our roomwas well appointed (huge bed) but experience unfortunately spoiled by lots of noise - from people in room above padding around at 5am, through to noise from other guests / reception radio early in the morning. Also the Green Point area suffers from a significant homeless population - fine during the day albeit a little edgy on walk to V&A - but at night definitely cabs needed - although that applies to whole of Cape Town. Overall - Harper's House is a solid option mid-range option for CT and if we'd had a room on the upper floor - review might have been a bit stronger.

Harpers House is a lovely place to stay at Cape Town. It is centrally located, there are food outlet's near by and feels safe. The house itself is comfortable, the breakfast is great. You have options from a few breakfast selections and they are all great and very generous portions. The accommodation is kept clean and the staff are very attentive to any request. Thanks to Papi, Rose, Shifo, Mcgill (I may have spelt the names all wrong!). Will stay here if I am in Cape Town again,

Excellent place to stay in Cape Town. A delightful older building, beautifully presented with very comfortable beds, great showers, lovely bathroom products… Breakfast was first rate. Staff very friendly. Easy walk to V&A or up Signal Hill. Very good restaurants a few steps away. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Harpers House for 4 nights at the beginning of our 10 day stay in South Africa. The hotel is in a great location, a 15 minute walk to the V&A but far enough away that you’re away from all the hustle and bustle of the centre. The hotel is stunning, staff are friendly, pillows are huge! Breakfast is wonderful. My only negative for this hotel is the rooms are a bit noisy, which was frustrating when people were up early on one of the mornings during our stay for a large bike ride. The hotel do provide earplugs and this was only an issue on 1 night/morning. Other than this we had a great stay

An absolutely wonderful place to stay! The hotel is close to V&A in a lovely neighbourhood. The rooms and public areas are beautifully decorated and my bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a hotel. The staff are wonderful - kind and attentive. Special thank you to Alice and Papi.
