I'm definitely disappointed in the hotel and its staff. The room was extremely simple (again: no 4 star), the receptionist welcomes you as if you are a thief (I don't think I look like one!) I had to pay for the night even before I had seen the room or put down my things... NO TRUST at all! The walls are super thin! I got an emergency call at 6:00 AM and as I was talking on the phone my neighbors where banging on the wall! A true nightmare! Next morning: self-checkout. Nobody at the reception. Again: no 4 star. Forgot to mention: you need to close the bathroom door when you plan to take a shower! or the smoke alarm in the room will go off! Bottom line: this was my first and last time. The restaurant is good though... Good food and friendly staff!
Dame-blanche was lekker.
Bediening restaurant was prima.
I would rate De Reehorst as somewhere between a three and four star hotel. The ground floor looks quite interesting although I did not make use of the bar or restaurant. The room I stayed in for one night was pretty basic. The best thing about it was the television. The pillows were uncomfortable and the bathroom has seen better days.
