This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had and I don't write reviews. I booked a room at this hotel and got a confirmation. However, I was called two days before my departure with a notification on mv voicemail that the hotel had canceled the reservation. I checked online and found that the hotel was ”booked.” I called and was advised that they had a ”glitch” in their system and were overbooked. I had reserved this hotel several weeks in advance and have a hard time believing that I was one of the last ones to reserve a room. Hyatt should be ashamed of this and people should be fired.

I chose to stay at this hotel on my arrival to Charleston because my flight was getting in too late to pick up my rental car, enjoy the city and I did not want to pay for parking at one of the inner-city hotels. It had some nice ambiance indoors and outdoors that was better than your typical airport hotel. The hotel bar was busy but service was great. Comfortable beds and room. There is a nice fountain outside, too.

The Courtyard by Marriott in North Charleston looks very nice from the outside, and it's clear the designers/builders did a great job. With that said, it's in need of TLC. The furniture was dirty and scuffed. The walls of the room and bathroom had scratches and green markings. The paint in the ceiling of the shower was peeling. The carpet did not feel cared for. Pros: Location - Right off I-26 Cons: Location - This is located adjacent to a seedy area. Be alert in the parking lot at night. Staff - The staff were either rude or apathetic. Not a single staff member smiled or issued a greeting. Advice to management: Invest in minor renovation. The staff morale is low.

我入住時不得不要求更改房間3次。第一房間聞起來像雞蛋,第二房間有一個沙發/長椅,裏面有污漬。第二次問肯德拉換房是因爲房間髒了,住那個房間感覺不舒服,第三間房,她讓我先看了一下房間才同意掃了房間發現比較乾淨所以拿了房間,剛安頓下來就把電話落在牀頭櫃旁邊,去接電話的時候看到垃圾很多,長凳下面就多了還有個塑料包裝,一定是前一位客人留下的,沒有清理乾淨。浴室的廁紙架也壞了,但我無法通過看它來辨別這一點。當我和萬豪的客戶服務代表簡交談時,有人告訴我,我不應該告訴別人房間很好,然後改變主意,抱怨。萬豪無法做到,因爲我使用第三方網站預訂了預訂,提供軍事折扣,但是無論任何人使用何種預訂方法,房間都應該很乾淨。我沒有感覺到我需要徹底調查我所在的房間是否在我抵達時得到了適當的清潔。不確定這是如何遵循萬豪國際清潔承諾的。當我在我所抱怨的房間裏寫這篇文章時,我也看到了天花板角落的網。房間令人失望,但萬豪及其同事處理這種情況的方式更加令人震驚。我們將來不會和萬豪呆在一起,並鼓勵其他人在訪問該地區時尋求更好的住宿。

This is a very nice place to stay. The checkin/checkout process is extremely easy and quick! Breakfast in the morning was very convenient. The only recommendation I would make to Hyatt would be more staff in the early AM for the Breakfast crowd and late night for the post event crowd.
